My name is Katrina Barnett.  I was born and raised in Virginia where I attended Old Dominion University and obtained my master's degree in education in 2001.  In 2019, I obtained a specialist degree in Instructional Technology. I've spent the past twenty years educating children in grades K-8. I'm currently a school library media specialist in Douglasville.  

In 2020, I decided to fulfill a passion that I began in 2009.  I enrolled in and completed online classes with GaMLS.  I'm so excited to finally be a part of a team and pursue my passion of helping others find their forever homes.

Outside of work I enjoy eating out, using my Silhouette machine, watching Netflix, and traveling with my friends and family.   I am married with two young boys ages fourteen (Breon) and ten (Grayson). My weekends are usually pretty busy since both of my boys are involved in youth basketball.  

One interesting fact about me is that I was born with an extra tear duct-google it.  In addition, my husband (Greg) is an NFL sports agent.
