Social Media Happy Hour

November 16, 2017

When you post on social media can mean the difference between two people seeing your post or 15 people seeing it. As you know, you need to make sure your Realtor marketing plans are well executed.

You’re already juggling a million things; from prospecting, keeping up with new and old clients, showings, open houses, just to name a few.

With so much going on it can be difficult to make sure you are posting content at peak times. Luckily, we have a breakdown of the best times to post for each network.

Facebook:

Facebook is the king of social media. You most likely have the most “friends” on this platform more than any other. Many studies had different ideas of when it is the best time to post on Facebook. The most consistent times throughout the studies were 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. on weekdays, peaking on Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 pm.

Twitter:

Thinking about tweeting a link to a new listing? Or maybe a link to your blog. Twitter is a simple and effective way to drive more traffic to your real estate business. According to multiple studies, Wednesdays around noon and 5-6 p.m. are the best times to tweet.

Instagram:

Instagram has definitely stepped up in the marketing world. Now with Instagram live, Insta stories and being able to post multiple photos, Realtors can show off their listings and connect with more clients. The best time to post on Instagram is Mondays and Thursdays, 2 a.m., 8-9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aside from peak times, post content more during off-work hours than during the workday.

Pinterest:

Pinterest is a great platform to push traffic to your website. The best time to post on Pinterest is Saturdays and Sundays 8-11p.m.
